Job Description

We have a position available for a Hotel Receptionist job vacancy in Pitlochry, Perthshire.  The Old Mill Inn require a receptionist to provide excellent customer service throughout the guest reservations experience and during the customers stay.   This role will also incorporate all aspects of administration of reservations as well as front of house customer service.

Roles & Responsibilities

Receptionist Job Vacancy in Perthshire daily tasks will include:

  • Taking bookings via telephone & email
  • Organizing check-in paperwork and arrangements for guests prior to arrival
  • Warmly greeting guests and checking them in to their room
  • Arranging dinner reservations for guests and any special requests
  • Liaising with Marketing Team on Seasonal Sale Offers
  • Completing administrative tasks – filing paperwork & emails, accepting mail, ordering office supplies, maintaining tidy and organised reception area
  • Checking out guests – preparing bills and offering a warm & friendly departure
  • Providing a professional and warm guest service across all points – phone, email and in person
  • Assisting on the bar over lunch time and as required
  • Assisting on the restaurant floor over lunch time and as required
  • Overseeing breakfast service and morning set up
  • Above all, providing 5-star customer service level which exceeds guest expectations
  • Positive and proactive approach required

Further training in the form of relevant in house and external courses will be provided.  Meals will also be provided on shift.
